Friday's strip was a bit late, but that's because the lake house I went to didn't quite have the connectivity I had hoped. Monday's might be delayed, too, just as a result of weekend events. Still, I got a bottle of port out of it.

Not that I want to turn into Piro and give you a constant trickle of updates on the completion of the next strip, but Friday's strip *is* almost ready. The weekend is going to be full of family who will simultaneously clamor for a new strip but allow little time for drawing. Still! Monday's strip is mostly scripted, and I should be able to draw it sometime between dinners and breakfasts.

I've got a brand new Mac Book Pro, I've replaced my drawing tablet, and I've finally got a legal version of PhotoShop for the new millenium. Now I just need to relearn how to draw my main character.

Happy Halloween, gneeches! I know it's been a slow year, but I couldn't let this day go by without a strip. I'm more optimistic about next year... more specifically, next semester, when I'll only have one evening class. In the meantime, I gotta go be the stranger who hands out candy.

I'm getting better-- the arrival of nearly 40 lbs. of temple oranges bodes for the return of full health. I'm genki enough that I'm trying out some really weird things this week-- expect amateur attempts at illustration stunts instead of plot. The blue pencil really has me trying things out.
