March 21st, 2001 -- Which dreaded time?
Original Babbler for 3/21/2001: Okay, so the site redesign has hit a few snags.
We've called out the big gun, though, and hopefully we'll have something before another month goes by. In the meantime, I'm getting this strip back on track with a new story arc that should reset the order of Alas' little universe. Stay tuned.
New Babbler: After strip #100, I knew I wanted Alas to keep going. However, every now and then I would get the urge to burn the whole thing to the ground and start over from scratch. This strip starts an arc that strays a little bit down that dark path. It's not total revisionism, so much as it is gracelessly starting up a new, coherent plot.

What have I been doing this entire time? I'll tell you: raising a daughter, and learning to draw Celtic knots. That's right.

Okay, strip's up. Little later than I'd like, but what the hey. Wednesday should be back to normal (even though it's gonna be... diff'rent).

There is a strip coming for today... but later. I let the weekend get away with me (had to take the bantling to meet Sinter Klas for the first time), and my telecommuting job is demanding my Monday morning. Fortunately, I'm on a 5 hour time difference from the States, so most of you won't even notice the strip's tardiness. (But the Gopher will notice. Ever watching, ever judging...)
