Alas lays down the funk! In truth, you can't have a conversation in an Istanbul bar once the band starts playing.
I've just received a mock-up of the new layout for the site (thanks, Lee!) and lemme tell ya, it's going to be pretty cool. Currently the strip is just kind of there on the page, floating in the void. While conceptually that sense of lack may have a certain moody appeal, in reality it doesn't grab the eye. We're going to change that. The toughest part for me is that prettier packaging means people are going to expect more from the content. Hopefully, a few of the things I have planned for the artwork (and the old girl) will match up to the expectations created by more professional looking site design.
I missed the Oscars, by the way, because they aired in Istanbul at three in the morning. On the upside, there was also no sitting through grating and ingratiating small-screen small talk.

What have I been doing this entire time? I'll tell you: raising a daughter, and learning to draw Celtic knots. That's right.

Okay, strip's up. Little later than I'd like, but what the hey. Wednesday should be back to normal (even though it's gonna be... diff'rent).

There is a strip coming for today... but later. I let the weekend get away with me (had to take the bantling to meet Sinter Klas for the first time), and my telecommuting job is demanding my Monday morning. Fortunately, I'm on a 5 hour time difference from the States, so most of you won't even notice the strip's tardiness. (But the Gopher will notice. Ever watching, ever judging...)
