The dollar's actually back up to 1.35 new lira at the time of this posting, but that's not much of an improvement.
I love strips that have a photo background, and I'm not sure if that's a weakness or not. Maybe I'm just pleased by the contrast between representational line drawing and factual color pictures. Those squiggles are not Arabic writing, by the way-- that's Japanese. Means staring. It's an anime thing.
You may recall from some earlier strips that I'm also an RPG junky. I just found out that the new widgety sourcebook I ordered from Wizards of the Coast shipped on the weekend but won't get here until April 20th. That frustrates me. Greatly.

What have I been doing this entire time? I'll tell you: raising a daughter, and learning to draw Celtic knots. That's right.

Okay, strip's up. Little later than I'd like, but what the hey. Wednesday should be back to normal (even though it's gonna be... diff'rent).

There is a strip coming for today... but later. I let the weekend get away with me (had to take the bantling to meet Sinter Klas for the first time), and my telecommuting job is demanding my Monday morning. Fortunately, I'm on a 5 hour time difference from the States, so most of you won't even notice the strip's tardiness. (But the Gopher will notice. Ever watching, ever judging...)
