March 2nd, 2009 -- This is a test
So I got a new Mac, and when I went out to get a legal copy of Photoshop for it I discovered it was actually cheaper to get said software bundled with a new Wacom Bamboo tablet. Who am I to argue? The above is only technically a strip-- it's really more of a test drive for the tablet and the software. I drew this one entirely on the Mac, no paper, to get used to the action of the stylus and the proportions of the display. The text looks a little funky to me, and I've got to figure out the tolerances on the "fill bucket" or go crazy, but overall it's been a productive afternoon. This is what snow days are for! I make no promises about when a proper strip will appear, but now that I've got toys whose expense I need to justify, it probably won't be four months.

What have I been doing this entire time? I'll tell you: raising a daughter, and learning to draw Celtic knots. That's right.

Okay, strip's up. Little later than I'd like, but what the hey. Wednesday should be back to normal (even though it's gonna be... diff'rent).

There is a strip coming for today... but later. I let the weekend get away with me (had to take the bantling to meet Sinter Klas for the first time), and my telecommuting job is demanding my Monday morning. Fortunately, I'm on a 5 hour time difference from the States, so most of you won't even notice the strip's tardiness. (But the Gopher will notice. Ever watching, ever judging...)
