The new strip is up, obviously, but I'm going to have to touch it up when I get home. Some of the furniture needs a little more detail. The kids? Nah, they'll be left nigh-formless, as Alas remembers them.

I've stalled for long enough. This coming Monday will see the debut of a new narrative arc, tentatively entitled "For the Record." History will be revealed, after which the characters will move forward.

I've picked up some new cardstock paper that really takes and sheds the No. 2 graphite well. I can make really sloppy initial sketches, do the inking with a Sharpie, and still end up with a fairly clean final product. Hopefully this will allow me to place things a little better in the frame, and fill the space with more confidence. At any rate, the process feels better.

The strip is up. Now I'm going back to work on the t-shirt.

There will be a strip up later this afternoon. Sorry for the delay, but my significant other had her wisdom teeth out. Must console and tend to.

I've added a new bit of artwork over on the Wasted Views. I'm also going to go see the baby panda today. That's what we do here in DC.

I saw snow the day before spring officially started. How's that for messed up? Strip is up at last, sorry for the delay.

V for Vendetta opens today, but I'll be winding my way up to colder territories, so Hugo Weaving will have to wait until another time. Happy St. Patrick's Day, by the way. May the line at your favorite Irish pub be not too long this evening. (By the by, Monday's strip will be posted later in the day than usual.)

I had the opportunity to watch Tron and The Abyss back-to-back this weekend. You remember Tron, right? Special effects that could be done today with MS Paint? And The Abyss, with the water-tentacle? Those films were only seven years apart. I couldn't figure out why I felt the gulf was greater between them, until I realized I saw Tron when I was seven and The Abyss when I was 14. No wonder it felt like an ice age had passed before the latter came out.

What were the chances that a film titled Ultraviolet and a film titled Aquamarine would hit the theaters at the same time? Three guesses which one I'd prefer to see.
